CMS produced a report for each cycle of the PERM program, beginning with the original demonstration projects. The Medicaid and SCHIP error rate pilots began in 2002 as Payment Accuracy Measurement (PAM), and continued through 2004. In 2005 the program was renamed PERM and one last pilot year was conducted.

PERM results are also reported in the Department of Health and Human Services' annual Performance and Accountability Report (PAR).
