What is the Provider Partnership Program

The Provider Partnership Program (PPP) is one of the ways that PCG strives to ensure that health care professionals are kept apprised of the latest Medicare information, and that PCG is responsive to the educational needs of these professionals. The primary goals of the PPP are to:

  • Share Medicare fee-for-service information with our provider partners for dissemination to their members;
  • Request feedback that will assist us in reaching Medicare physicians, providers, and suppliers;
  • Request feedback on draft educational products; and
  • Be responsive to our partners' expressed needs for educational materials.

Focusing on national organizations that are Medicare billers or serve as information intermediaries for Medicare beneficiaries, PCG staff make initial contact with selected organizations to schedule an introductory meeting to describe its provider education and outreach activities and determine if the organization representative(s) wishes to participate in a partnership. If the organization agrees to participate, the organization's contact(s) are added to an e-mail listing and information is sent to them on a periodic basis from a PCG staff member.
